Onsite Training FAQ
What courses are available for onsite training delivery?
All of our courses are available for onsite training delivery, however, there are hardware, software and classroom requirements that must be met in order to ensure an effective learning experience. In general, our courses are divided into 2 primary equipment configurations: a server for many students to access simultaneously (1:many) or a server for each student individually (1:1).
Hardware/Software Requirements
Are there additional classroom requirements beyond the computer equipment?
Yes. To ensure the very best training delivery possible we also require the following:
- A projector with VGA adapter
- White board and/or flip chart are also recommended
On which version of TeamSite are classes taught?
For onsite classes, Interwoven Education Services supports the latest two releases of our software - currently TeamSite 6.7.1 and TeamSite 6.7.
How many students can be taught in a single class?
We recommend class sizes be limited to a maximum of 12 students per class. Teaching more than 12 students means the individual attention for each student is reduced and the opportunity for question/answer exchanges is also negatively impacted. In exceptional circumstances (and for selected classes), it may be possible to add up to 3 additional students for additional cost. We regret that class sizes beyond 15 students are not available.
Are class hours flexible?
Absolutely. Keep in mind that course days generally run a full 8 hours and are typically delivered 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. For onsite classes, we can begin earlier or finish later as desired.
When should onsite training be scheduled?
We recommend that onsite training be scheduled with a minimum of 3-4 weeks notice. On occasion and where instructor availability permits, we may be able to schedule with less lead time... don't be afraid to ask!
When are the training dates confirmed?
The training delivery dates will be confirmed once payment arrangements have been finalized. Interwoven Education Services accepts all standard forms of payment - company purchase order, check or credit card - as well as pre-paid Education Units.
What if we need to cancel our onsite training for some reason?
Please notify Interwoven Education Services (training@interwoven.com or 408-530-7142) as soon as you know you will need to cancel and/or reschedule your onsite training class(es). We regret that cancellation fees may apply and are assessed as follows:
- 11 business days (or more) prior to the start date of the class, no charge.
- 6-10 business days prior to the start of the class - 50% of the class fees.
- Less than 6 business days prior to the start of the class - 100% of the class fees.
- Rescheduling is also considered as a cancellation.
