Out-of-Sight
Out-of-Sight®, created by SoftWise®, is a metadata management utility that reduces the risk of unintentional disclosure of confidential information embedded in Microsoft Office documents electronically exchanged with outside parties. This shrink-wrapped, user-friendly utility provides a mechanism to analyze and clean documents before they are sent out. It integrates with multiple e-mail systems so users are prompted to remove metadata from documents attached to e-mails prior to sending. Batch file processing allows users to clean multiple documents, a directory or an entire directory tree in a single operation. The Administrative module enables central management of the product and establishment of enterprise standards, using a simple GUI.
