SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2003 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of the world's best-integrated enterprise content management platform, today announced the appointments of Mahmood Panjwani and Bob L. Corey as members of the Board of Directors. Panjwani has also been appointed Vice Chairman of the Board.Panjwani's and Corey's unmatched expertise in collaboration and document management technology will be extremely valuable to extending Interwoven's ECM leadership.

These appointments follow Interwoven's completion of its merger with iManage, a leading provider of collaboration and document management software for global enterprises. The "New Interwoven" is positioned for further leadership in broader, more complex collaborative enterprise environments. Currently, Interwoven enables more than 2,700 companies to seamlessly allow content to cross infrastructure boundaries.

Panjwani has more than 20 years of industry experience, spanning executive management, software development, sales and marketing. He served as president and chief executive officer of iManage, where he oversaw the company's strategic vision, overall management, and leadership. Panjwani co-founded iManage, Inc. in 1995 after visualizing a new way for companies to conduct eBusiness. That vision resulted in the iManage WorkSite application suite, a revolutionary approach to collaborative content management. Under Panjwani's leadership, iManage built a customer base of over 1,400 companies, with 600,000 users worldwide. Previously, Panjwani built and managed Q-Image Corp., a technical consulting services company.

Corey joins Interwoven's Board of Directors after serving on iManage's Board for the past year. Corey's 25-year career includes hands-on experience in corporate finance, operations, and investor relations at both public and private companies. He currently serves as executive vice president and CFO of Thor Technologies, Inc., a venture-backed provider of enterprise provisioning software, where he oversees the company's financial management and administrative operations. He previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Documentum, a provider of enterprise content management software, where he directed all finance and administrative functions and helped the company grow its revenues and increase shareholder value. Corey was also chief financial officer of Forte Software, Inc., where he successfully directed the merger of Forte Software with Sun Microsystems. Corey also serves on the Board of Extreme Networks, a provider of network infrastructure solutions and Amberpoint, a venture-backed provider of Web services management solutions.
