Interwoven Opens New European Headquarters in the United Kingdom
SUNNYVALE, Calif., USA -October 23, 2000 Interwoven, Inc.(Nasdaq: IWOV), the leading provider of enterprise-class content management software, announced today that it has continued its expansion through Europe by adding offices in Stockholm, Sweden to handle its Nordic operations and an office in Paris, France to handle sales in southern Europe These offices are in addition to Interwoven's existing offices in the United Kingdon, Munich, Germany and Utrecht, the Netherlands. Also announced today is the move of Interwoven's European headquarters and its U.K. subsidiary Interwoven U.K. Ltd to its new, expanded office in Ascot, Berkshire, England.

Interwoven has 45 European customers such as British Airways, ABN Amro, Ericsson, Glaxo Welcome, Tesco and many more U.S.-based customers with operations located in Europe such as GE, Compaq and Cisco. There are currently 75 European employees of Interwoven today across Europe with many more expected by year end.
Interwoven has seen tremendous demand for its flagship content management product, Interwoven TeamSite. Interwoven's new wireless and B2B business units are also seeing strong interest with European customers and potential partners. Interwoven's existing strategic partners include IBM, Microsoft, Art Technology Group, BEA, TIBCO, WebMethods and INTERSHOP, Computer Science Corporation (CSC), PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Andersen Consulting.
