Leader in Enterprise Web Production Attracts Industry Veterans
to Fill Key Management Positions
SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 30th, 1999 Interwoven, Inc., the leading
provider of Enterprise Web Production software (EWP), today announced
the addition of three new members of the management team: David M. Allen
as of chief financial officer, Joe Ruck as vice president
of marketing and Jeffrey Engelmann as vice president of business development.
The hiring of three senior executives enables Interwoven to accelerate
its growth path, advance its market leadership and expand its strategic
alliances.

Prior to joining Interwoven, Mr. Allen was the CFO
of Objective Systems Integrators, Inc. (Nasdaq:OSII), a leading provider
of software solutions for the telecommunications industry. Previously,
Mr. Allen was CFO of Telecommunications Techniques Corporation (TTC),
a Maryland-based communications test equipment manufacturer. A certified
public accountant, Mr. Allen also holds a B.S. degree in accounting from
the University of Maryland.
Joe Ruck, Interwovens vice president of marketing,

Mr. Ruck comes to Interwoven from Genesys Corporation
(Nasdaq:GCTI), where he served as vice president for customer marketing.
Prior to Genesys, Mr. Ruck served in various senior sales and
marketing capacities at Network Appliance and Sun Microsystems. He holds
a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and an
M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
Jeffrey Engelmann, vice president of business development,
describes the upcoming year as a period of continued rapid growth for
Interwovens strategic alliances. "Many systems integrators and Web
interactive firms already see TeamSite as a critical component of their
customers overall Web production process," said Engelmann. "As
more and more industry solution providers select Interwoven software as
the industry leading way to build large Web sites for their customers,

Prior to joining Interwoven, Mr. Engelmann spent nearly
ten years at IBM (NYSE:IBM). His most recent position at IBM was executive
operations officer of the Internet Division; earlier positions included
business unit sales executive, internet solution architect manager in
IBMs E-Business Solutions group. Mr. Engelmann holds a B.S. in chemical
engineering and B.A. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin
- Madison.
